Bayview Repair Cafe

This is a totally free event aimed at reducing what goes into landfill and maybe you can pick up a repair skill along the way too! We will have handy people, repair station as well as some arty, crafty people to help with fiddly things!

Pop and down and just have a look around and say hi. As well as some talented volunteers on site we will also have some tools. If you have been looking for a "thingy" to fix your "whatjamacallit" them pop on down and see if we have one here!

We will have e-waste bins available at our Repair cafe. So bring along any ewaste (excluding tvs) you have to put in the bins. We also have collection points for used batteries, nescafe dolche gusto capsules, any brand toothpaste and toothbrush rubbish, breadtags and writing instruments (pens etc). So start collecting it all up to bring along with you.

You are more than welcome to come and try and fix your own stuff too during the afternoon.

Do you have a fantastic skill that you can share with the community? We are looking for volunteers who have skills with fixing toys, electrical goods, furniture, clothes or bikes. I'm also happy to hear from anyone who has any other repairing skills they would like to share!
