Well well well, Wellington do we have something tasty just for you.

Mark J (Melbourne)
Kiwi born, Melbourne based, DJ / chef / warm weirdo. DJing for 20 years with a unique style comprising of deep, funky, filthy house and techno. You may recognise him from such festivals as: Rainbow Serpent, Burning Man, Strawberry Fields, Maitreya, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Rancho Relaxo, Shipwrecked and The Town.

His DJing career has seen him open for artists including Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Moodymann & D-nox and his fetish for freaky food / music fusion has led to his very own Soundfood cookbook that features recipes (+ a VA compilation) devised with 5-star industry friends such as Opiuo, Mr Bill, Spoonbill, Grouch, Tom Cosm and Antix / Fiord.

Speaking of Antix / Fiord...

Out of Sorts (Auckland)
It's easy to assume that Out Of Sorts came Out Of Knowhere when their spirited first remix made its way into the hands of Kompakt Records gaining attention from some of electronica's most seasoned captains. However, something about their productions tells you they didn't – a bold entity lurks within those modern grooves and nostalgic moods telling us we're not dealing with lucky amateurs.

Which they are. From the grimiest clubs to the most revered festivals on the global circuit, somewhere in the abyss you may just hear something out of sorts – channelled by guardians that only they can see. They also run a little record label that you may of heard of....Beat & Path

Speaking of Beat & Path...
Noncharlet (Auckland)
Her history of playing music starts a decade ago with playing festivals in Christchurch and Golden Bay. Then spending five years in Wellington adding to the growing electronic scene with being a promoter for a DJ collective Work in Progress and holding down a residency at the famous Cuba Street hang out Laundry Bar.

Noncharlet knows how to move people and create energy and feeling on the dance floor. Her style is unique, slick and takes the listener on a journey.

Her set at Friends From Around the World in Te Arai (North Auckland) received incredible response as did her previous set at Shipwrecked the year before. She has recently played with Thankyou City, Out of Sorts and Boy oh Boy. And has joined forces with the boys at Beat & Path.
