An adaption of the classic fairy tale.
An arrogant young prince and his castle's servants fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress, who turns him into the hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. Years later, his chance shows itself when a young maiden named Belle offers to take her ill father's place as his prisoner. With the help of his enchanted servants, including the matronly Mrs. Potts, the suave, Lumiere and the devoted, Cogsworth, Belle begins to draw the cold-hearted Beast out of his isolation. Back in the village however, a ruthless hunter and his wacky sidekick have their own plans for Belle.
