Blue River Baby are a charting NZ psychedelic soul and funk dub band from Wellington New Zealand. A hard working Six-piece outfit made up of killer NZ talent, their original music invites us to find conscience loving connections with each other and our surroundings.

The Band who came together in 2016 in Wellington, were drawn together for their combined love of making music to move and connect people. The result that has captivated audiences at their shows, is a powerful infusion of vintage rock with elements of blues, funk dub, soul, ska and reggae.

With an organic, rocking sound that has been storming stages and filling rooms over the past few years. Blue River Baby Band pull together an epic group of groove monsters and deliver a unique, addictive sound with brilliant results. BRBB are ‘Dianna Ross’ like Ivy Padilla (Panda) Lead vocals, Cam Crawford Keys and vocals, Jason Hotton Drums, Dave Bamford Bass, Matt Fitzpatrick Guitar, John Gaulter Sax and woodwind.

Their first single ‘Blackyard Town’ was released in Jan 2019 and hit #7 on the iTunes NZ top 200 RnB charts, featuring on Radio in Australia, USA, UK and NZ. It was selected as Radioactive.fm SRN Hit pick. And playlisted by Orange door music, EMBR Music and AMS Hospitality systems.
Their 2nd single ‘Walk of Shame’ released on the 29th of March 2019 hit #20 on the UK’s iTunes top 200 Blues charts and received radio support across NZ, USA & Australia. Their 3rd self-titled single ‘Blue River Baby’ hit #1 on the iTunes NZ R&B soul charts and has also been supported across stations in NZ, Australia and USA

Devon Welch & Band
Devon is an underground up and coming New Zealand artist from the Kāpiti Coast. Smashing out high energy sets fused with hip hop funk and soul, you can expect the crowd to be absolutely vibing. Bringing only the best to the stage- he will be joined by Wellington favourites Jules Blewman (guitarist) and Luther Hunt (drummer) of Tunes of I whilst featuring the legendary Harrison Scholes (bass) offering up an experience more powerful than the planeteers combined!

CL-Audio Dub
CL-Audio DUB is a music group who plays conscious Reggae-Dub. His music creates a cool, laid-back mood just right for swaying and dancing, utterly in tune with the easy going beach style that vibrates through everywhere they play. The special aspect about CL-AUDIO DUB is that they choose to play and produce consciously - music with the intention to nourish the listener, to inspire inner clarity and meditativeness in a non serious way.
The lead singer, guitar player and composer Claudio Escutia uses his skills of self-awareness developed through teaching yoga and sound therapy, to express his love for Reggae music in a healing way.
Claudio is joined by Shane Hamill on bass.

Konarucchi
Konarucchi is a recent graduate of Massey school of music and lead vocal and bassist in Pale Lady a celebrated Wellington band. hailing from Wainuiomata in a Konarucchi set you can expect to hear a variety of different vibes and styles. His most recent project, ‘Empty Mind’, was a project based around growth in songwriting, where he wrote 5 acoustic songs, and then reworked them in different ways to create his yet-to-be-released debut EP, ‘Stuck in Daydreams’.
