Broken Lexicon are bringing their Gypsy Jazzified Folk-Funk aesthetic back to Wellington, with a live show in the warm surrounds of The Third Eye - Tuatara's Temple of Taste. Russian born guitar virtuoso Alexey Medvedev conjures his richly percussive, fingerpicking guitar compositions around the powerful melodies and lyrics of Kiwi songwriter and storyteller Brook Davies.

Together they fuse a sound that is freshly unique, but with familiar territory to draw you in. As a duo they are a dynamic force; daring each other to keep trying new forms, and always enjoying the process along the way.
