Brought to Light: Collections Processing 2018–2019

This exhibition has been postponed until the Museum has re-opened.

There is a great deal of work that goes on behind the scenes in museums.

Staff at Toitu recently embarked on a project to improve aspects of their behind-the-scenes operation. This exhibition shows off some of the cool things processed as they have tackled a backlog of donations, catalogued and reorganised their costume and textiles store, and catalogued and digitised some of their archival collections.

Brought to Light: Collections Processing 2018-2019 is in the Temporary Exhibitions Gallery. Admission is free. The exhibition is open during normal museum hours.
