A follow on course for those who have completed Margaret's Calligraphy - An Introduction course. The class will be a full-on tuition day in learning the Italic Hand. We will look at both Minuscule and Majuscule letters, their form and composition. We will transition from pencil mono lines to pen made letters.
Please bring any materials from your introductory course. Now that you are advancing with your calligraphy, you will need appropriate pens. Margaret will have pens for students to purchase from me - $26.00 - $45.00 for a set, paper pack and further notes.
Who should attend? Those who have completed Margaret's Calligraphy - An Introduction course or already have some basic calligraphy skills. This course is not suitable for beginners.
Margaret Woollett, a Freelance Calligrapher and Lettering Artist, has been involved with lettering and calligraphy for more than 25 years, as a student, freelancer and teacher. She works from her Devonport studio taking classes, teaching at community centres and working freelance for a wide range of commercial clients.
