Lama Choedak Rinpoche, Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Master visits NZ only twice annually to deliver teachings / public talks based on ancient Dharma knowledge and practices that have been followed for 2,500 years.

Rinpoche is a teacher, author, translator and Buddhist speaker at many international forums. Rinpoche understands and conveys Buddhist Dharma in such a way that western students can grasp this ancient philosophy, and how it applies to a daily context in modern times.

Calm Abiding (Samatha) Meditation uses traditional Buddhist Mindfulness training techniques to develop a mental discipline through awareness of breath, posture and feelings. Our mind’s processing affects our physical and mental health, and Rinpoche’s teaching helps us understanding how negative situations and negative states of mind come into force. Samatha Meditation skills focus on improving personal well-being and how to maintain a positive peaceful mind.

Take time out to hear Rinpoche at a breakfast meeting, a public talk or a weekend retreat of Calm Abiding Meditation. Registration details can be found on Phuntsok Choeling’s website phuntsok.choeling@gmail.com.

Note: Early Bird Discount if full registration received by 20th May 2019. Learn about the Buddhist perspective on life and how our mind’s processing affects our choices and the actions we take.

Range of events:
Hastings: Breakfast & Talk 31st May 7.30am
Otane: Public Talk 11am
Taradale: Public Talk 7pm
Napier: Retreat 1-3 June (register 1, 2 or 3 days)
