Castle Peak Forest Half Marathon, 14k & 7k Trail Run

Castle Peak Forest is a privately owned forest, located just 30 minutes from Napier.

This is trail running at its very best! Choose from one, two or three laps - a half marathon, a 14km or dip your toes in with the 7km. Walkers are welcome in the 14km and 7km events.

Castle Peak Forest is our stunning forestry venue with beautiful forestry trails.

Please note that Castle Peak Forest is a privately owned forest that is not accessible by the public. Please do not attempt to visit the forest prior to the event.

Distances are subject to change +- 15%.

This run is event four of six in the Hawke’s Bay Trail Running Series. You can enter one or enter them all.

Each event offers three distances to suit all abilities:
- Short: 5 - 9 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Medium: 11 - 15 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Long: 1/2 marathon (runners only)
