A joint field day for two Environment Award winners: Come and find out how two Award winners are working together to bring back the bush and birds in the Picton area.

Kaipupu Wildlife Sanctuary, winner of the 2019 Community Innovation Award, is a 40 hectare predator-free site near Picton, restored through the efforts of committed volunteers. They're now focused on education and guided visits to spread the conservation message.

Picton Dawn Chorus, winner of the 2019 Landscape and Habitat Enhancement Award, is a trail-blazing project in community urban pest control. Find out how the volunteers are getting rid of predators and bringing back the birds to 2000 hectares around Picton and Waikawa.

We're catching a boat to Kaipupu, the trip is free but numbers are limited so please make sure you book in by September 10: or Phone 03 570 5233.
