The Cheviot Hills Challenge is the perfect mountain bike race for everyone in your family to enter.

This year you have the choice of three course options and different distances to suit your skill and fitness levels, with all races completed on tracks running through forest and farmland in the rolling hills just south of Cheviot.

Both races start at 10am Sunday 24th November from near the Mansion House ruins. Parking available nearby.

- Domain Ride: complete 4 laps of a 3km loop through the Cheviot Hills Reserve along well formed and gently rolling tracks. Most suitable for younger and older or the less experienced riders.

- Full Course: complete 3 or 4 laps of a more challenging 6km course through the Cheviot Hills Reserve as well as private farmland. This track is more suitable for intermediate and experienced riders with a higher level of skill and fitness.

Junior competitors have the option to register in a 2 lap Cheviot Hills Reserve course.

Early Bird entry prices exist until 10 November.
Online ticket sales will finish at 8 pm on the 23rd November 2019.

A late fee surcharge is added for on the day entries - 8 am till 9:30 am at the race registration tent.

Categories include Junior, Open (all ages), Veteran and "Old Cranks", there is also an E-bike category this year. Restrictions apply on which ride some catergories can participate in. See registration page for full details.

A Sausage sizzle and a Coffee stall will be present for competitors, support crews and spectators.

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest entrant in each category as well as a prize for fastest Lap overall. A range of spot prizes will be awarded. You must be present at the prize giving to collect the prize.
