Chili Cook-Off

Its time for the legendary 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off: See 12 of Hawke's Bays best and bravest Chili Cooks battle it out for the cup, the glory and the prizes. Taste the chilis and cast your vote- with MC Slave and DJ Chopper Reeds from Fat Freddy's Drop spinning tunes and giving out spot prizes all day.

Watch the agony as maniacs take on the NZ Hot Chili Eating contest to earn themselves a flight on us and a spot in the National Championships in Auckland.

Special release Habanero Lager from Giant Brewing and Zeelandt Brewery in the house, plus Sawmill Beer specials and new Cocktails from our bar. Open all day from 11-late, event runs from 1-5pm.
