Chinese New Year

Join us at SKYCITY this February to celebrate Chinese New Year. There will be a beautiful Chinese Garden under the Sky Tower, a street festival on Friday 8 February, plus live entertainment and the Night Noodle markets throughout the month.

Monday 4 February is Chinese New Year's Eve, come and see the traditional dragon and lion performers, plus the ever popular dancing pandas!

On Tuesday 5 February, we officially welcome in Year of the Pig. There will be a visit from the God of Fortune, an Eye Spot ceremony, plus contemporary Chinese Performances and firecrackers!

Every Friday and Saturday night from 8-16 February there will be live performances under the Sky Tower, featuring acrobatics, lion dancers and much more.

Don't miss the Chinese New Year Federal Street Festival on Friday 8 February. There will be live music, competitions, lucky draws plus a fun kids zone - and the delicious Night Food Markets will serving up treats such as peking duck, pork wraps, dumplings and steamed buns.
