What is it?
This Restash event is a fabric and paper pattern swap that's also a fundraiser for Home & Family society. The basic idea is that you bring fabric & printed patterns that you no longer want or need, and swap them for things you love more!

How is it a fundraiser?
Money from your entry fee and also from the raffle (which currently has over $300 worth of prizes) will go directly to Home & Family Society, who support vulnerable children & families in Christchurch.

What's the plan?
In the style of the Melbourne Restash events, please bundle and label with fibre content (if known) and meterage (i.e linen 95cm x 140cm).

We will arrange all the fabric on tables by fabric type (knit, woven, etc), we'd be happy also to take scraps (at least 30cm x 30cm) for a separate 'scrap' table and also a table for hard-copy patterns.

If you wanted to drop off your fabric during the week leading up to the event, please email jess@homeandfamily.net.nz to coordinate.

Basic tickets and the entry will go directly to Home & Family Society Christchurch, but everyone attending should bring 1 item to swap. For every five dollars paid above the first $5 entry fee, you'll receive 1 entry into our raffle (read more about the prizes below).

Where is it?
The Restash will be at Home & Family Society's building at 319 St Asaph Street, in central Christchurch. There's street parking around, or it's about a 10-minute walk to the bus interchange. Please ignore Google Maps, which places 319 east of Barbadoes, when we are actually West of Barbadoes, on St Asaph Street!
