Chums Playgroup

Have a toddler, baby or preschooler? Want to engage with your child's learning, connect with other families and enjoy being together? Haere mai, Welcome, Talofa, Malo e lei lei, Ni hao, Bula, Hola, Bonjour, Salaam, Sat Sri Akal, Susadei! Chums playgroup is a friendly bunch of parents, grandparents and whanau.

We get together weekly during the school terms for fun, food, stories & music together. We have active play (sandpit, ride-ons, outdoor equipment, roller coaster), roleplay (dolls, dress-ups, playhouses), creative play (paints, drawing, collage etc), baby area, and a range of books and puzzles to explore.

Most sessions have music and movement in English, Te Reo and other languages, helping children build language, coordination and musical skills. Morning tea kai is provided, the suggested donation is $3 per family or $3 per child if coming with a registered caregiver. Supported by the Ministry of Education and Discovery Christian Centre and volunteers.
