This session looks at the ‘pure mechanics’ of communicating with kids. What to say and what not to say, how to say it, where to use their name, body language, tone, repeats.
We will look at what you are currently doing, how that may or may not be working for you, and what it looks and feels like to your child.
Be prepared to be shocked. Some of your communication may be ‘invisible’ to your children. Some may be seen as aggressive – merely by the tone and gestures you are using
