Guest-speaker Benny Allen is a professional XTERRA athlete and two-time past winner of XTERRA Rotorua. His illustrious XTERRA career stretches to 3 XTERRA World Champs podiums, twice Asia Pacific Tour Champion and 20 XTERRA titles. Benny will share some insight into how he does it as a plant-based athlete.

Your host, Ben Eitelberg, is a plant-based endurance sports coach and athlete. As a highly accredited triathlon coach, he has been operating his endurance sports coaching business Fitness Locker for over 8 years and is an avid advocate for a wholefood plant-based lifestyle. He will provide an overview of key nutrition guidelines we all should know, plus ideas on how to fuel your training and competing.

The topics will include:
- An outline of key nutrition guidelines including calories, protein, and wholefood vs supplements
- Training and racing food, and how to maximise nutrient absorption
- Insight and tips for travel
- Assessing stress on the body with Heart Rate Variability
- More topics and plenty of time for Q&A

These workshops have been extremely popular, selling out 9 times across 3 locations in New Zealand, and another 8 times across 5 locations in Australia. There will be no repeat sessions as we’re cramming in 5 dates in 8 days on this New Zealand tour that includes Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, and Rotorua. Make sure you buy your tickets now!

This workshop is being held in the Cards Lounge, situated adjacent to the hotel's D-Bar. Best access is the Sala Street entrance.

We are absolutely delighted to have Tea & Happiness offering plant-based meals (no oil options available) delivered free to the workshop! If you haven't yet, now is your chance to try the power of a plant-based meal, and put some of your knowledge to the test. Head on over to http://tea-and-happiness.co.nz, place your order and save on delivery.

We’re super stoked to have our favourite product partners sponsoring this workshop, either with samples for everyone or a giveaway hamper drawn at the end of the session. A big thank you to Frooze Balls, Pics Peanut Butter, and Radix Nutrition.
