Calling all yo-pro’s! You’re invited to join us for the very first of our dynamic winter speaker series, ‘Connect; Talks to Inspire’, held in partnership with St John’s Bar & Eatery to enlighten your lunchtime each month with fresh topics, engaging speakers and delicious food.
These sessions offer a prime opportunity to escape the wet winter weather and enjoy the cosy St John’s setting whilst connecting with other like-minded young professionals over lunch to learn more about what’s hot in the realm of tech.
Topic #1: Tech Disruptors
At our upcoming session, you’ll hear from guest speaker Jessica Manins, CEO of virtual & augmented reality studio, ’Mixt' and co-founder of New Zealand’s virtual and mixed reality centre, ProjectR. Jessica will focus on technology that not only benefits business, but improves quality of life for the wider society too.
Jessica led the establishment of The New Zealand VR/AR Association and was a 2017 finalist in the Wellingtonian of The Year science and technology category. She’ll help you discover some of the key disruptors of technology that exist at present, and explain what they have to offer that makes them such a big deal.
