CJC favourite sideman releases his first album as band leader.
Dixon Nacey is an in-demand guitarist, having been a sideman in jazz and pop groups for much of his performance career playing alongside notable artists in NZ and overseas. As part of his recent Masters in Music research project, Dixon composed a portfolio of tunes specifically designed to challenge both listener and player alike, whilst striving to maintain an 'aesthetic balance'. This CJC gig heralds his debut outing as leader with the release of his first album under his own name entitled 'Creature Of Habit'.
With a programme comprised of challenging original material and a fantastic line up of heavy hitters, this is sure to be a fiery musical treat!
