Culture Galore 2019

Culture Galore is an annual event at Ray Blank Park celebrating Christchurch’s diverse ethnic culture in a family atmosphere.

Stage performances range from Japanese drummers to colourful traditional dances and songs from Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Ireland, China, Fiji, Russia, Cambodia, Bhutan and many more countries.

As well as these amazing performances there is a huge range of have a go activities for the whole family such as: stone carving, flax weaving, face painting, archery, bouncy castles, police speed radar, henna tattoos and more. You can also sample some of the appetising ethnic cuisines from one of the many food stalls.

The event is supported by the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood and Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Boards.

Event entry and activities are free. But there is a cost for food and craft items. Cancelled if raining.
