Curious Tamariki

Join us for 2 days of exploration, creating, nature, science and filmmaking for young people. Give a voice to nature with Curious Tamariki.

On the first day participate in workshops and games with an environmental focus about our streams, forests, and birds alongside scientists from Unitec. Day 2 will be all about building skills, speaking the language of filmmaking and editing techniques working alongside professional filmmakers from The Open Fort. You will get to tell your story by initiating the start of your own film sharing your stories, knowledge, and feelings about the environment. Films will be started then finished in your own time with ongoing support.

A mini film festival will showcase everyone’s short films in July.
