Join us for an exclusive visit to the private art collection and residence of one of New Zealand’s most important art advocates, Dame Jenny Gibbs. After a welcome with drinks and canapés, Dame Jenny will join Ron Brownson, Senior Curator, New Zealand and Pacific Art, in conversation about the history of her own collection, her deep interest in Colin McCahon’s art, and the ties that bind a diverse and remarkable collection.

This is a truly unique opportunity to hear Dame Jenny speak surrounded by privately owned works of McCahon and other key artists. This is a fundraising event and the proceeds will benefit the programmes and activities of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.
