We will all die. Yet we don’t talk about death and dying very much. Currently, and for the most part, a small group of people manage death for us behind closed doors. We are increasingly unlikely to know what options are available to us and those we care about. So, how can we prepare well as an individual and as a society?
Join Auckland Cemetery Manager Nikki Marchant-Ludlow, death educator Melanie Mayell and contributors to Freerange Press's recent release, Death and Dying in New Zealand, for a discussion on the ways we approach death, the choices we can make, and how our relationship with death reveals much about our values and how we live. This discussion is free and open to the public, and there will be time for questions at the end.
Books will be available for purchase.
