Detour with Kitty Day and Kelly Pigott

Detour are one of the best 3 piece RnB acts around. Sharp melodies and funk.

Detour are a three piece Napier based band formed in July of 2009.
The band consists of drums, bass, electric guitar and vocals.
The majority of the songs we perform are original compositions.

Song writing is a collaborative effort based around the three different styles of Liz Tubby (Vocals, Bass Guitar), Keith Jackson
(Guitar, Vocals) and Marty Smith (Drums, vocals)

Our sound is an eclectic mix of Jazz, Blues, Rock, Folk, Funk, Reggae, latin and includes vocal harmonies.

We always enjoy playing to our growing fan base at the Cabana in Napier and the variety of regular gigs at different venues throughout the Hawke’s Bay region including our regular spot at Sanctuary Sounds in Pukehou and further a field.

We now have an EP and an album and are working on more recordings along with new material in between gigs.
