Smart devices - phones, tablets - are being used all over. And Google's Android-based devices are a great way to learn to develop apps. This course will get you creating apps and games for Android.

Please note you will be required to get your own Android smart device to test out the apps that you develop.

Ages 9 and over. Locations - Available in St Lukes, Albany and Botany centres.

Step inside Scratchpad - and step into a world of limitless possibilities. A world where creativity has no boundaries and the present becomes the future.

Scratchpad is an educational venture focused on helping youngsters (and the young at heart) to love, use, and create opportunities with technology - to help them develop skills that prepare them for the future and last a lifetime.

We believe children need to learn more than just how to use technology - they need to learn how to become creators of technology. Theirs is a world where self-driving cars and remote control of household appliances and electronics using smart devices will soon be the norm, not the exception.

Scratchpad is the place where this creativity happens! Scratchpad is the innovative space where children can become the innovators of tomorrow.

This is a Scratchpad Holiday Programme course - one of many we're offering this School Holidays! Please visit our website for more details and other courses.
