Dinosaur Forest Walk

Meeting at the H-Tree track entrance at 9am. Come and explore our very own prehistoric forest hardly changed since the dinosaurs roamed the world - 22nd Sept, meeting at the H-Tree track entrance at 9am. Kids activities along the way, family friendly. Bookings essential. Bring some water and snacks. Will be cancelled if raining. Will take about 2 hours.

How to get there: Whirinaki Te Pua-a-Tāne Conservation Park is 90 km south-east of Rotorua. The track is reached via Minginui Road, off te Whaiti Road (old SH 38), then via Old Te Whaiti Road and Old Fort Road to the Old Fort Road car park.
