Update: Due to the overwhelming demand, a new after school show has been added.

Grab your mouse ears and get ready for a worldwide party commemorating 90 years of Mickey Mouse as Disney On Ice celebrates Mickey and Friends skates in to Auckland, Hamilton and Christchurch this August.

Tickets are on sale 9am, Monday 1 April, for all three cities.

For the first time ever, Disney’s Moana will come to New Zealand in Disney On Ice, and one performance at each tour stop, will present the Moana segment in te reo Māori.

Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy join Mickey in a high-energy opening that is a modern take on the film that started it all, Steamboat Willie. Mickey and pals venture through the various Disney worlds sharing meaningful moments from treasured tales spanning generations to determine what their favorite memory of all time in the ultimate interactive event when Disney On Ice celebrates Mickey and Friends.

“In this new Disney On Ice production, we pay tribute to Walt Disney and the true original icon, Mickey Mouse,” said Executive Vice President of Feld Entertainment and Producer Nicole Feld.

“Each section of the show was carefully selected to immerse families in an array of stories that they have grown to know and love. Because of its cultural significance in the Pacific and how beloved the character is here, this year, we are particularly delighted to bring the story of Moana to life for New Zealand audiences in te reo Māori for one performance in each city.”

Visit for the tour information coming to a city near you, including the performance in each city whereby the Moana segment will be performed in te reo Māori – Sunday 5.30pm.
