We know that the hardest part of any new project or goal is getting started. It's easy to get caught in over-thinking every single possibility of taking action (or not), only to find ourselves in the exact same circumstances a year later, experiencing the same results, only this time, with a greater feeling of dissatisfaction. The age-old saying "damned if you do, damned if you don't" persists today because we have been taught to believe that everything must be certain, secure and planned out before we make the decision to go on holiday, ask that person out, start a business, or go back to study.
Everyone is wildly creative at the core, but unfortunately, we've created a culture of planners who are all waiting for that one perfect something that will validate that this idea that they have- to travel the world, to open up a cafe, to become an athlete is the right path. The secure path. But, that’s just not how growth works. If you already know how to achieve your goal, it isn’t going to do what goals are meant to do for you. The price of growth IS uncertainty. It is designed to force you into a state of humility, where you must learn to walk again, with your eyes closed. Unfortunately, this is what stops most people before they even begin. They become stunned by all of the things that could go wrong and eventually, their big idea, their dream dies inside of them.
The decision to do anything is always the result of an internal feeling of certainty FIRST. When your inner world is ordered and crystal clear, the next step will always be shown. But first, you have to be willing to lose sight of the familiar for a moment, even if it means hurling yourself into the abyss and gathering your courage on the way. This is an invitation for you if you're ready to stop planning and begin at once to live the life that you've imagined. This is an opportunity for you to learn how to create the inner certainty to follow your intuition, despite the fear, your current circumstances or the opinion of others. To begin at once to live the life you envision with what you already know now.
