In celebration of the cinematic event of the year - Downton Abbey, on Sunday 15th September we're bringing you a special film screening followed by a delicious Afternoon Tea in Coco restaurant, sponsored by our wonderful friends at Dilmah.
Over its 6 seasons, the Downton Abbey series garnered 3 Golden Globe Awards, 15 Primetime Emmy Awards, and 69 Emmy nominations in total, making Downton Abbey the most nominated non-US television show in the history of the Emmys - even earning a Special BAFTA award and a Guinness World Record for the highest critically rated TV show along the way.
Now, the servant’s bell will ring once again as your favourite characters return with old friends and new faces. Experience the splendour, romance and drama like never-before on the big screen.
Our event will begin with some prizes donated from all our wonderful sponsors at Haylo Skin & Body, La'ffare, Weta Workshop, Whirlwind Designs, Harcourts, Blackmore & Best, Caci Clinic, and Headstart, so dress to impress and you might just win our best-dressed spot prize!
Shortly after this, the film will begin, so sit back and relax as you return to Downton Abbey. Once the film finishes, we'll head into Coco restaurant where a scrumptious Afternoon Tea awaits!
We have two choices of Afternoon Tea for you to chose from:
$24 - Devonshire Tea: A delicious cup of tea and a scone.
$44 - Traditional English High Tea: A three-tiered, elegant platter of scones, slices, sandwiches and pastries, sure to delight.
Both options include the film screening and a chance to win some prizes!
1:00pm cinema doors open for prizes
1:15pm the film begins
3:15pm Afternoon Tea in Coco restaurant
