It is a living colour!
No chemicals used in eco-printing.
All colours are from leaves, moss and flowers.
My name is Ari, I am an architect by trade, and also artist and maker.
I love sketching and drawing, I love colour.
It took me a few years to learn how to capture, control and contain natural colours.
My philosophy: Everything we do in life has to be done sustainably, casting thoughts to the future.
Natural colour is good for our environment.
Through this class, you will learn not only about the extraction of natural dyes but also how to be happily creative with just enough and available literally under your feet.
What we will do:
Eco print paper with fallen leaves and flowers
Assemble a creative custom journal
We will use:
Upcycled and new watercolour paper
Leaves to make eco prints
We will learn:
How to make your own notebook for sketches, writing, scrapbooking and more.
Which leaves and flowers make most dazzling eco prints.
Print can be also framed, or used as cards, or further worked with paint or thread - loads of possible creative paths to explore!
Materials: Everything is provided. If you like, bring along your own paper, to incorporate into your journal design.
This workshop is best suited for adults or kids 15 yr and over.
