Eglantyne, a vibrant and inspiring solo play that tells the little-known story of Eglantyne Jebb, who, with her sister Dorothy, founded Save the Children 100 years ago. Eglantyne was a courageous and compassionate human rights pioneer, whose fearless spirit and bold vision continues to impact children around the world today.
Eglantyne has played in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Geneva, Beirut and Tanzania in theatres, festivals and other spaces including Eglantyne’s Shropshire childhood home, London’s Central Family Court and New Zealand’s Government House. Eglantyne is written and performed by Anne Chamberlain, directed by KC Kelly, and produced by Ms Chamberlain Presents.
