Embellished Chorus Open Night

Singing is fun. But it’s especially fun when it’s with a group of goofy, supportive friends who have a passion for harmonizing!

Embellished is a Wellington-based young women’s barbershop and a cappella chorus that is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. The chorus is under the new direction of Seth Bocknek and is excited to grow as it heads into this new chapter. We rehearse every Tuesday evening, 7pm-9pm, at Tawa College.

If you’re interested in barbershop/a cappella singing and would like to see what Embellished is all about, come join us on Tuesday 16 July for our Open Night. You can expect an evening of chords, laughter, and fun. Whether you’re an experienced vocalist, or a shower singer whose only audience member is her cat, we’d love to see you there.

Embellished is always open to new members. For the Open Night, we're extending an invitation to women who would like to start singing, who used to sing and would like to get back into it, or who would like to learn a little more about Embellished. Our hope for the evening is to showcase what we're all about, sing a few songs together, and have a great time.

Any guests who would like to come to watch are welcome too!
