One of the most famous and memorable stage fights in Shakespeare’s canon is the rapier and dagger fight between Hamlet and Laertes. If you’ve ever wanted to know how to wield these weapons safely and impressively, join this two course for 15-24 year olds and learn how to fight like the best!

Alexander Holloway is the Head of Stage Combat and Special Effects at Pop-up Globe. When he's not choreographing stage combat for the Pop-up Globe stage, Alex's time is spent running the New Zealand Stage Combat School, a company he founded to deliver top quality training to performers and stage combat enthusiasts alike. After completing his BA HONS at East 15 drama school, Alexander worked on the West End and in London as a professional fight choreographer and or fighter for many years.

Inspired by great films like Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit Alexander moved to New Zealand to share his expertise in Stage Combat and Alexander now teaches at some of the best theatres and drama schools in New Zealand.
