Five Buck a Duck Derby

Join us at the Taylor River on Sunday the 5th of May for the Five Buck a Duck Derby with Life Education Trust Marlborough. Last year the event raised over $5000 for them and this year we are hoping to raise even more.

What you need to know:

Ducks are $5 each and can be bought from:

More FM Marlborough, 1 Main Street, Top Floor, Blenheim. (Open 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday)

Cherubs Childrenswear, 11 Wynen Street, Blenheim. (Open 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday plus 9:30am - 1:30pm Saturday)

Corporate ducks are also avalible for businesses, get in touch with Life Education Trust here. The winner will get a morning tea shout!!

On the day

There will be 700 ducks in total, if we don't sell out before the race then they will be availible to purchase at the Henry Street Bridge from 10:30am - 11:40am on the day of the event.

At 11:40 we will start walking to the High Street Street Bridge.

The race will start at the High Street Bridge at 12pm and finish at the Henry Street Bridge.

There will be a Sausage Sizzle, TT Coffee Cart and Nana's Cream Freeze if you want to buy anything. Plus a free Bouncy Castle for the kids thanks to McKendrick Event Hire.

The first duck across the line will win $500 cash all thanks to Sounds Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

All money raised goes to Life Education Trust Marlborough.
