“Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown…”
Henry IV Part Two – Act 3, Scene 1
The lease is up for renewal and Felix is about to continue his reign as the king of 25 Navarre Street and his three flatmates plot to usurp Felix and take the crown for themselves. With the promise of power, however, comes the temptation to stab each other in the back.
Can the kings get through the night with more than just a hangover?
Written and directed by James Smith, TAHI TA’I TASI presents the development season of Four Kings. Set in a student flat, the characters play around with well-known Shakespearean archetypes and become heightened versions of themselves. With a drunken fool, a scheming ex-flatmate and the worst noise control officer in the world, Four Kings is a light-hearted comedy of errors.
Featuring a young, diverse cast of both new and experienced local performers, Four Kings is a hilarious romp/drunk stumble through the works of William Shakespeare.
