Future Artefacts

Please join us on Thursday the 17th October at 5.30pm for the preview for Future Artefacts. Hot on the heels of her other new collection ‘GLOW’, ‘Future Artefacts’ is a further exploration into Natalie’s experimentations with fused gold and irregular stone setting techniques.

In this new collection she invites you to imagine yourself a future excavator or treasure hunter, unearthing the gold and riches of jewellery wearers from centuries past. These pieces, old and forgotten, not having seen the light of day for many many years, are gnarled and imperfect...yet they tell a story. Their imperfections are in fact their absolute beauty.

This latest collection from Natalie Salisbury Jewellery will be on display at The Makers from the 18th of October until the 16th of November.

Perfectly situated inside Workspace Studios at the Toi Poneke Arts Centre on Abel Smith St and just a stone’s throw from funky Cuba St, the atmosphere inside The Makers is one of a bustling studio gallery where you can see and hear the pieces being created in the adjoining workshop.
