Juniors (12-15 years)

Critters (11 and under)

One of each species per Junior
- Heaviest: Rabbit - Possum - Hare -Turkey - Magpie
- Heaviest combination of Hare, Possum, and Rabbit
Also Kids Lolly Scramble, gumboot throw, Kids Colouring Competition & other activities for kids.
Pricing:
Individual entries: $40.00 per person
Juniors: 11 to 15 years $15
Critters: under 11 years $5
Family pass: $60 (1 Adult and 2 children 15 years and under, additional children from same family $5 each)
No new entries on the day. Winners must be present on the day - Programme could be subject to change.
Age-restricted prizes please present Photo ID and current gun license.
Pig Rules
- All pigs must be presented at weigh station before 2PM Sunday
- No late pigs or time extensions will be accepted.
- No mutilated pigs will be accepted
- Boar’s only minimum weight 30kg’s
- Must be suitable for human consumption
- All pigs to be born in the wild, have lived in the wild, and have been caught in the wild.
- Pigs must be presented with nuts in or attached by cord.
- Pigs May be taken with dogs or shot but cannot be shot from a helicopter.
- Pigs may not be taken with use of a trap.
- Pigs to be presented in one piece with head intact.
- All offal must be removed to the scrutineers satisfaction
- No pigs accepted tampered with frozen, decomposing or badly mutilated.
- No suspect pigs – evidence of nose rings, ear tags, tassels etc.
- If a hunter has a pig rejected because it contravenes a rule for any reason then the judge has the right
- To reject other entries by that same hunter.
- Where two pigs are of equal weight on the final tally up the 1st of the two pigs weighed intakes the upper ranking.
- The registered person catching the pig must weigh-in the pig.
- Junior boar must be nominated - not part of average weight prize
- Please bring your gun license
- The judges decision is final in all classes
Deer rules:
- Spikers only( being 1 point either side)
- All spikers must be born in the wild, lived in the wild, and be caught in the wild with ears on.
- Entry fee paid at time of registration, no new entries on the day.
- The presentation of deer must correspond to that required of pigs (detailed above).
- The judges decision is final in all classes
- Please bring your gun licence
