This weekend course runs 10 AM - 4 PM over Saturday and Sunday 21 and 22 September 2019.

Do you know the basics of Indesign and Photoshop but want to take your skills to the next level and expand your creativity? Come and learn from a professional graphic designer and get the inspiration you need for your next project. While working on your own project you will learn about the basic design principles including, colour theory and the basics of typography.
Who should attend: Students who have completed Beginners Indesign and Photoshop courses and can use these software applications, and now wish to extend their skills. Homework assignments will be set so students should have access to Adobe tools.
This course does not teach Photoshop or Indesign basics. Please check our website or search eventfinda for more details about beginner level classes.
This course will be taught in our school computer suite using PCs.
Expected course outcomes:
- Understanding of the 5 basic graphic design principals; balance, contrast, hierarchy, repetition and order.
- Understanding of the fundamentals of different typefaces and typeface anatomy.
- Understanding of colour behaviour and its application.
- Using the understanding to create own individual project.
- Setting individual project up for print.
