FatG at the Gryphon and Stupid Poets presents Grown Ass Woman and Peter the Sober Vampire, two separate shows in a one hour block!
1st: Grown Ass Woman by Rachel Resnik
What does society think it means to be a Grown Ass Woman? Marriage? Babies..nah-maybe? Nah! Cheese puffs? Rachel is an actor and comedian. She has studied clown extensively, and was a recipient of the Julie Goell scholarship for eccentric women in 2018. Her work has been seen across the world. She recently built her first shelf, and impulse cut her hair pretty short. Feauturing a cast of crazy characters such as Gollum from The Lord of the Engagement Rings. Directed by Rui Dun.
2nd: Peter the Sober Vampire by Piotr Sikora
Peter The Sober Vampire and his friends: Vladislav, Mr Piotrek and The Poet just recently got sober and quit drinking blood. They created show as the end of long process of healing to show their gratitude to the universe. They will show you all the best they have- unique vampire poetry for children, unpredictable vampire magic tricks (that David Copperfield would never do because he was too poor magician).
They will also show you long forgotten art of real Zen (not shitty mindfulness). Nothing will go wrong in this show, because it is very professional show made by very professional characters. There also will be a break for a cup of coffee and hopefully no one will die because with vampires you never know.
Two solo shows in one hour featuring a cast of crazy characters including a vampire who's sober and a grown ass woman who's not. Sikora & Resnik (We're not a law firm) have both trained extensively in clown and have toured internationally. Their company Stupid Poets presents pure ridiculousness from Warsaw & Los Angeles straight to Wellington!
