It is hard to imagine New Zealand without vineyards and olive trees, our morning coffee and our afternoon cup of tea.

Meet on the downhill side of the playground for this moderate 90-minute walk, with one uphill section, and ending in the Begonia House, to hear how these and other plants have changed economies and social customs.

This walk is led by the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden.
