This workshop is tutored by Nigel Gavin and members of the renowned Gitbox Rebellion, who are performing a concert at the Wellington Bluegrass Society on the previous night to this workshop.

Workshop: Games for Improvisation on the Guitar
This workshop will focus on games and strategies for the guitarist to improve their improvisational skills and techniques in personal practise. The participants should come away with a new found joy of practise and creativity. The skills highlighted will also be very useful for composition and invention. Who needs computer games when the guitar is so deep?
Some basic experience on the guitar will be beneficial for this workshop.
