Discover the simple natural tools you have at your fingertips to fix your gut and health your body and mind at this Gut Health Workshop in Christchurch.

Recently, scientists have discovered that the eco system of bacteria living in our body is essential to
our survival. Even more intriguing, an imbalance of this eco system could be responsible for a host of
ailments affecting our society today.

Poor gut health can contribute to many conditions, including immunity issues, IBS, constipation, depression, low energy, chronic fatigue, eczema, autism, behavioural issues, skin issues, hormone issues and brain fog.

Facilitated by the Gut Health Collective, this workshop will cover how using diet including fermented foods, natural supplements and pre and probiotics can help you tackle a huge range of health issues. It will touch on biomedical medicine, the latest research on genetic testing and how increasing your body’s methylation rate, a biochemical process, can also impact gut issues.

Come along some strategies to restore and maintain a healthy gut.

Gut Health Collective leader Anita Kyle will be speaking about her 10-year journey to improve her family’s health naturally after both her children were diagnosed with autism. Anita will share the steps they took to manage this disorder and reach a stage where both children are living normally and enjoying a mainstream education.

“There are advances in treatment all the time, and the principles we applied to autism can apply to anyone with gut health problems,” she says.

The Gut Health Collective is a group of natural wellbeing champions passionate about educating New Zealanders about taking care of their own health.

Louise Fawcett from Pacific Harvest will share key findings from research on gut health, sea algae and their potential benefits in restoring gut health.

Derek Moffat from Best Bones Broth will share how broth and other food choices have made a huge difference to his family’s health and wellbeing.

Anita will also talk about fermented foods and the importance of it being organic. She will share how to use Be Nourished sauerkraut in everyday meals.
