H-Tree Track Geocache Hunt

Part of Conservation Week 2019 - conservationweek.org.nz

Open any day, new geocaches to explore from 14th September on wards, bring a drink, lunch, snacks, a raincoat, the kids, some friends, and spend the day exploring and finding some awesome spots. There’s a multi cache for those looking for a challenge!

Extra activities on this track include a treasure map for kids and adults - find all the answers to the questions along the H-Tree track to discover some of Whirinaki’s treasures. (see website).

Getting there
Whirinaki Te Pua-a-Tāne Conservation Park is 90 km south-east of Rotorua. The track is reached via Minginui Road, off te Whaiti Road (old SH 38), then via Old Te Whaiti Road and Old Fort Road to the Old Fort Road car park.
