We all know that Halloween celebrations are becoming more popular in NZ, but can be hesitant to let our tamariki walk the streets Trick or Treating.

So Triathlon HB have created a family friendly, fun Halloween event at the HB Sports Park in conjunction with major sponsors Harcourts and Media Works. This is open to those aged 0 – 15 years and children 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult during the event (accompanying adults are free). This is a pushchair and wheelchair friendly event, but please no dogs. No race times are taken – it is all about fun!

Participants are encouraged to dress up and navigate their way through a course that will spread over the limestone pathway around the perimeter of the HB Sports Park (approx 2.3kms) with quick, fun activities along the way. Running or walking is fine.

All finishers will receive their own “Trick or Treat” bag with goodies. Bring a picnic blanket if you want to hang out afterwards – music from Mediaworks, sausage sizzle and facepainting. Spot prizes, including for best dressed.

Come on down to this inaugral event. Only $10 per child + online registration fees. Limited numbers.

This event is online pre-registration only and entries close 12noon Sunday 27 October unless sold out!
