Meet up with our friendly club members, and try out your hoop running skills on the lawns used for the 2018 Association Croquet World Championships. Croquet is a game suitable for people of all abilities and all ages, from young adults upwards.

Golf Croquet, the more popular version, has only one shot per turn so everyone has an equal number of turns but there is still ample opportunity to explore different strategies. Not challenging enough? Try out the traditional version, Association Croquet, where you can earn extra shots in a turn, some of which are two ball shots.

Drop in and we'll arrange a game to fit in with the time you have available. Discuss your results over a cup of tea or coffee in our charming clubhouse which dates from the 1920's. We've been at Kelburn Park since 1913.

All equipment is provided; please dress for the conditions and wear flat-soled footwear such as trainers.

We are at the southern end of Kelburn Park (between the University and the cable car). Our small car park is on Salamanca Road just below where Salamanca Road and Kelburn Parade meet. We offer the first two sessions free and then, if you would like to find out more, it is $30 for four sessions ($20 for full-time students) with all equipment provided.

See our website for more information, and contact details if you have any queries regarding the Have a Go sessions. It also has details about the costs of booking a corporate or family function where you can hire our premises to play croquet, with guidance by club members if needed, and then use our club house for socialising and serving refreshments.
