Have a Go - Croquet - Connecting Communities

Free Have a Go sessions - try out your hoop-running skills and meet up with our friendly club members. Afterwards discuss your game over tea/coffee in our clubhouse, which dates from the mid-1920's. All equipment is provided; please wear flat-soled shoes.

There are half hour sessions during the week or drop in anytime between 12pm and 2pm on Saturday 28 September. Our introductory offer is two free sessions then four sessions for $30.

We are the Kelburn Municipal Croquet club - hoop running since 1913!

We play two types of croquet - Golf Croquet, where there is only one shot per turn, and you play in a strict sequence of colours. This sequence is shown on a striped stick in the middle of the lawn. The other type is the traditional one, Association Croquet, where it is possible to earn extra shots by hitting your ball against another one, and therefore to make a number of hoops in one turn.

Our carpark is on Salamanca Road, just before Kelburn Parade. Come up the path from the car park to our lawns and our clubhouse is tucked away at the end of the path, close to the Club K squash club building.
