Hawke's Bay Beer Week: Pucker Up! Sour Beer Takeover

SOBA (Society of Beer Advocates) Hawke’s Bay is presenting the first ever Hawke’s Bay Beer Week – a series of beery events at venues and breweries throughout Hawke’s Bay in the time around Beer Appreciation Day (BAD).

Hawke’s Bay Beer Week runs from Tuesday 5 March until Sunday 10 March, and includes events at Giant Brewing Co in Havelock North, Westshore Beach Inn in Napier, Brave Brewing Co in Hastings, Zeelandt Brewing in Eskdale, Beer Appreciation Day in Havelock North, Common Room in Hastings, GodsOwn Brewery in Maraekakaho and Abbey Brewery in Bridge Pa.

Thursday 7 March: 4-9pm
‘Pucker Up’ sour beer takeover at Brave Brewing Co in Hastings
A good collection of sour beers will be hitting the taps, as well as some harder to find bottle/can options. Tasting flights will be available, with the option of individual short pours of the specialty bottled varieties.
