Haydn In the Church

Take an extra dose of Haydn, with his vivacious overture to opera La Fedeltà Premiata, and two early symphonies, nos 9, and 5 — with its stratospheric French horn lines played by NZSO musicians.

Mozart's first 'Salzburg Symphony', Divertimento K. 136 intersperses the symphonies, with string verve and grace.

Camerata is a non-profit Wellington chamber orchestra founded in 2015 by Liz Pritchett & the late Ian Lyons (luthier & cellist) and led by Musical Director and Concertmaster Anne Loeser of the NZSO.

Musicians include professional performers, tertiary students and amateurs. Camerata seeks to make beautiful classical music accessible to all. Koha appreciated, cash only.
