HB Amateur Winemakers and Brewers Open Competition

Good sponsors prizes, fellowship.

Details are as follows.
- Rules and specs for beer, wine and liqueur on Club website
- Entries $2 per bottle entry by 17 August. Entry form download here.
- Tie on tag to be attached to each entry defining class number (and sub class for beers), your name and main ingredient.  
- Judged on Gold, Silver Bronze system with prizes going to best performers. Sorry, Cups only presented to best entries by financial members.
- A pot luck dinner is to take place after the judging and prize giving is completed (approx. 6pm). There will be a gold coin raffle.
- Tea and coffee will be provided.

This is an opportunity to meet and “shoot the breeze” with fellow enthusiasts.
