Rich with the history of its inhabitants, the Church of Scientology building has been lovingly restored to its former glory by master craftsmen who worked on some of England's and Europe's finest heritage buildings. The restoration received a Gold Award in 2018 in the New Zealand Commercial Project Awards heritage section.

The building has been a place of learning since it was built in 1926 and was a hugely popular attraction during the recent Auckland Heritage Festival.
